The location is amazing. Close to transport and shopping. The service has been on point, even in the stress of 30 people arriving at the same time. The rooms get only a 4 due to the fact the sink has problems letting water run out. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars all around. So can only recommend

Reception staff were really lovely. Managed to check in early by signing up to a free account with them, which was worth it. The room was spotless and noise was very minimal despite being in a prime location. Piccadilly Station is a stones throw away so easy to get to by train - not sure about parking though. Checkout was at 12 which was a nice change from 10 at most other hotels - not so much of a rush to get out in the morning. Overall really happy with our stay.

Couldn’t recommend enough!! The staff at Double Tree Manchester made our stay personalised, special and memorable! After letting the team know it was my partners birthday, they organised a birthday card, treats, a balloon and super creative man designed with towels! From the moment you walk in the staff are welcoming, attentive and kind. A truly lovely visit, thank you :)

Nice hotel in the heart of Manchester, right in front of Piccadilly station. Its great location makes it perfect for people who travel to Manchester and need a place which is well connected and in the heart of the city. Nice building, they have a bar at the ground floor, a gym (small but functional) open 24 hrs and conference rooms. The breakfast is really good and the service is great and they are all prepared and ready to help. I was expecting more from the rooms though: mould spots in the shower (inside the shower box and on the ventilation hole), one of the drawers inside the wardrobe had a broken piece. Small things that didn't change my comfort, but you don't expect from a hotel of the Hilton company. Also insulation is a big minus: rooms are well insulated between them, but not so much with the outside and when you are on a very busy road/area night and day, it can be difficult to rest. One last thing: I received an email a few days before my arrival that one of the lifts was out of order. During all my stay it was out of order and sometimes I had to wait longer than planned to get a lift because it was overcrowded and stopping at every floor. I often used stairs but none wants to carry heavy luggage through stairs.
