Tried Thompsons Chippy a couple of days ago and I especially enjoyed the pudding chips and gravy. The chips were the best I've had in a long time. My wife had the fish, which was equally as good, with nice, thin, crispy batter.

Really lovely fish and chips. It's really friendly, has some good offers on mid week sometimes, been a few times now. Parking can be awkward as it is near a busy junction. But when something is nice, you find a way round. 😘

Always known this as a lovely place I remember I was about 14 years old (roughly around 2010) one day after school me and my friends went to the chippy they could see my friends had chips and not me, they called me over and gave me a free cone of chips. this is a memory that will always stick with me even at 27 years old, I hope my kids can grow up in a world where people like these guys exist

Just to let you know that your fish and chips were divine and more than match the seaside ones I normally purchase 😍 Evelyn loved her pudding, chips and gravy and we are now washing them down with a bottle of Malbec 🍷🍷
