There is nothing like having full scale stained glass windows to make your meal/dtink more enjoyable. The volunteer staff couldn't have been more more pleasant and a variety of comfortable seating added to the ambience. There is a car park at the rear - and a rear entrance. Clean well lit multisex toilets.

No meat which i didnt see mentioned outside, menu a bit smaller than id expect for a cafe, maybe more of a coffee shop. But what they did was very nice, the setting of the church is pretty, serene and not cramped. Staff seemed friendly. Toilet facilities clean n great smelling air freshener

Such a lovely cafe. It's in an old part of the church and the tables and chairs are the old pues and tables. We didn't eat, but the cakes were homemade and looked delicious. There were gluten free and vegan options too.

Great cafe to come with children. Very friendly and helpful staff, they have a play area with toys and books which is great for smaller children and toddlers. They also have a nice terrace which is lovely during sunny days. They have an area called 'the living room' that can be booked for free with non-profit groups. They have soup during the day and nice snacks and cakes. A fantastic place!

Home cafe is a brilliant place to come with kids. There are a few different areas you can sit, the main room which has tables for the kids as well as a play kitchen and other toys. A quieter seating area near the entrance to the cafe with a view out to Barlow Moor Road, and then a side room off there which has a train table and other toys. If there are a few of you it is nice to go in that room and shut the door so the kids can't escape! The menu isn't vast but the food is okay and the kids love the little homies lunch tray which is a selection of finger foods. I would say the service is usually pretty slow, I'm not sure it the people that work there are volunteers, but they always seem to be different every time I go on so therefore a bit unsure of the till etc. However, as this is a community cafe run by the church, I cam get over that!

Very pleasant environment, great coffee, cakes, snacks and small lunches. Always clean and all the staff is kind and helpful. From what I can tell all or most off the staff are volunteers. Seems to be very child friendly. Always lots of kids and babies with mother's. Also great place to come study or read.
