By far the best restaurant in the world. There are no other chicken shops for me. If you haven't tasted the refined flavours of Chicken King, then you're missing out. As they say, the true crowning glory!
If you are in the student area of Fallowfield... Chicken King is the place to go for a post drink feast! Probably the best friend chicken I have ever tasted! The staff are nice and it's reasonably priced too! The chips aren't great but you don't go to Chicken King for chips!
Chicken King, as they rightly claim, simply are the true crowing glory when it comes to fried chicken. Anyone who has ever spent any amount of time in Fallowfield will know of Chicken King. It's multi-franchise-mocking red and yellow signs are a beacon of late night takeaway hope to anyone staggering off one of Manchester's magic buses. Everyone dreams of a Chicken King, and you'll often hear gangs of local fans singing of the various meals on offer, with the spicy wings a personal favourite of mine. If you haven't had your picture taken behind the counter with Shazad then you'll never know how it feels to be a prince of their kingly chicken.
regular here. but now they started doing gourmet burgers and steak and chips! when a good thing, becomes great!
