Not being here for years thought we try it and few friends recommended it.yes it's very welcoming and friendly nice and clean prices very reasonable .staff were lovely. Yes me and my friends would definitely return

Hadn't been in for year's but karaoke was on and the lady who does it is fantastic. The bar is well stocked, the choice of beers is really good and they have Boddingtons and Worthingtons on draught both of which are well kept and very nice bitters. The customers I met on both occasions were genuine people and good conversations were had. I went in on my own and felt completely safe and very comfortable. Last but not least, the landlord and landlady who are two of the nicest people who you could ever wish to meet.
I'd recommend this pub to anyone. It is full of atmosphere, everybody gets on and most importantly there are no idiots.

Good pub, nice atmosphere. DJ/kareoke on Fridays. Reasonable prices.

5 of us went for lunch, great experience, friendly staff and landlady . We all enjoyed our food with a good cup of tea . Opens at 1pm . There's outside seating and a play park for the kiddies . One drawback, no disabled toilet.
