Lovely meal , I had the smaller fish and chips from the Weekday Set Menu, When it came it was hot ,lovely fish and a good portion of chips for a smaller appetite plus the peas and tartare sauce, all very tasty too! I had a chocolate brownie and cream, delicious, shared it with my husband. George served the meal he was friendly and helpful.

We went on a Monday night and it was lovely and quiet. Grace (our server) was absolutely wonderful, they constantly came to check on us and check we had everything we need. They were lovely and personable and always went above and beyond (even taking pictures of deserts etc, so we didn’t have to get up from our seats). A lovely evening, made even better by Grace.

Typical pub grub venue. Quite a busy place and it was my first visit. It was very clean and tidy, Food ordering was a little confusing as some meals you got a ticket for others had to be ordered separately. Food came pretty quickly but on some of the meals there were items missing, sauces or condiments( no Dianne sauce with the steaks) Portions sizes were mid range not what I would call adult sized. In my opinion a little pricey for what you got. Food was quite tasty but went cold very quickly after being served.

Wow what a lovely carvery, it is the best carvery I have ever had. Amazing choice of veg, even had sprouts, roast parsnips & red cabbage in March. All the meats were really tender. The desserts chouces are to die for.. wow. Service for placing order and drinks a bit slow could do with more staff but they were all lovely. Highly recommend this place 5*****

Dan was excellent and went above and beyond with his service. Food was delicious, very fresh, hot and tasty. The little things matter like offering us ice and lemon with our cokes which he did. Very cheerful staff - they are an asset to your team. Lovely lad who served our carvery too. Absolute 10 out of 10.

Genuinely enjoyed the vibe. The staff were amazing, and the customers were here to enjoy their time and company. Honestly, it is a very mellow atmosphere.

Food was great. I came on a Monday afternoon at 12pm for carvery. I brought to young lads that I am a support worker for who have autism. They are both non verbal but love interacting with people. Danielle C was great from start to finish. From ordering to bringing out food out she didn’t waste no time in serving us promptly and with a lovely smile. As for the lads waiting is a difficult task sometimes ! Danielle also was great when interacting with lads and greeted them with a smile. Customer service skills stretched further than just serving our food. Nothing was too much and Danielle c was more than happy to spend a couple of minutes chatting with us. She definitely made the afternoon more enjoyable for all of us !

Came here with my partner, I had a standard carvery and he had the dirty hunters burger. They accommodated his preferences for the burger with ease(no tomato’s, onions or sauce etc) which was nice as so many places we go to tend to just ignore the request. He loved his burger and the chips looked great, My carvery was nice, the best part were the Yorkshire puddings, beef, and turkey. Our favourite by far was the chocolate brownie and ice cream desert. Really enjoyed our time there and the people that served us our food/took our plates away were really lovely and friendly. :-)

It's a basic pub chain type meal but it was really nice, my scampi were nice and crisp and the chips were really nice. My wife and daughter had the carvery which is my idea of hell but it looked really nice.

Really enjoyed our carvery - all meat and vegetables were fresh and hot. Turkey and beef were super tender. The carvery server was really friendly and there were plenty of family dining seats and highchairs available. I would say that the atmosphere in the family area is really dim lit and quite cold though.
