Janam

I was really happy with the service as boss man gave me and the lads a deal we could not refuse. Unfortunately the deal was too good to be true and the wings looked like something from Chernobyl, as the saying goes “don’t knock it till ya tried it” which we did and found the wings to taste like peggy Mitchell’s left breast. Later on that night I kept farting in the club Cargo and everyone could tell it was me I didn’t even try to deny it. In the taxi home, as quick as the wings went in they came out and I did a Janams all in my pants and had to walk the rest of the way :(

Update: Sad to say this place has nose dived and is now an absolute rip off serving up some of the smallest portions for the most ridiculous prices in the city centre. Avoid! Original: Janam has been my go to post night out kebab or pizza stop for the last 15 years. I cannot do justice with mere words to how wonderful an eatery this place is... unbelievably fast service with a smile every single time no matter what time of the night or how busy the place is. As highly recommended as is possible, I go here even if I've been out on the complete opposite side of town... no where else measures up in the service and quality you get from janam. I seriously LOVE Janams!

Been coming here since originally moved to Manchester back in 2003. One of the best take aways, if not in my opinion, thee best! Amazing for kebabs, pizza's, Indian starters and sides. Family run business, always service with a smile and happy to see returning customers. Sadly don't live in Manchester any more but have to visit each time I'm there to finish a night out and say hello.

These guys have taken on the hard task of feeding all the patrons that come out of Manchester's clubs late on a Saturday night! They had this efficient queuing system so everyone could stay dry inside and we were in and out with our food in about 10 mins. Guys running it were friendly enough considering some of the patrons they have to deal with, so props to them for keeping a smile on and using their manners. Food itself was good. We tried the chicken kebab and chips, popcorn chicken and chicken pakoras. All hot, fresh, cooked and no bad tummies the next day so... Jobs a good 'un! You can tell this is the fave kebab spot on the street. And it's probs for a reason!
