Popular community local which has a bit of everything. Good selection of beers. Seating out front on Beech Rd which catches the sun, plus a huge beer garden up the back. A couple of seating areas plus a big screen for sports up the back. Definitely dog friendly there’s generally a few pooches around the place. It can get a bit rammed after the game if West have been playing.

29/07/23: our first time here with the wife and dog. Lived in Chorlton Green as a kid and only ever came much later in life. Great place, lovely front sun terrace, lots of space in the garden back. Good selection of craft ale. Dog friendly!

MADDOGLEP

One of 4 long established bars on or near the Green. First visited back in 1975. Good real ale with choice of 6 on this visit. I had the Brightside Beech Inn Brew which was fine. Outside seating.
