Really like the relaxed atmosphere here, great coffee and some nice snacks too (avo toast is great value and very tasty) well worth a visit if you're in the area!

Great coffee, nice pastries, dog-friendly, bit of a tardis for seating. Run by a proper coffee geek ;-) --update: it changed hands a while ago, so no longer run be the coffee geek (who opened his own place on Beech Road), but it's still good.

Into the Gathering Dusk @ Barbecue was a dream, sadly not a permanent feature but when it's on I strongly recommend a visit for the turmeric based cocktail which basically solves all your physical ails whilst getting you merry. What's not to love?
I love the venue which is great for a morning pop-in coffee and perhaps a plate of avocado on toast whilst your doing your rounds of Chorlton shops.

The coffee here is excellent. The cakes looked good, but I didn't try one. The interior is stripped back to basics. Interesting light fittings made from tree trunks.
