Stopped in during our travels and was decently impressed. Friendly staff! The chips and salsa were very good, food came out very quickly and was pretty good. My only complaint would be the Margaritas which were lacking flavor and pretty weak. Overall, we were satisfied and would return, but not for Margaritas. 😉

I don’t have enough good things to say about Baja! We’ve been eating there for a few years now! Their food is always consistent, and staff always so friendly. Food is just the bomb. The best Mexican food we’ve ever had. Every time. We love them! ❤️

If you really love Mexican restaurant Food this is the GREATEST place to go. From being seated to getting our food less than 7minutes it was on the table. Family friendly great atmosphere. The employees are ready to serve you the best food ever. I highly recommend everyone to visit the Baja California Cantina .

Three Amigos dip and the fried burrito are my faves! The staff is so kind and patient. We had a big party to celebrate birthdays and they were so good to us. It's one of our favorite Mexican spots now.

I had to ask... how long are you guys open??? Because we found them by chance and there were no reviews. Glad we took the chance, because this is the place for Mexican food in Gardendale!!! Absolutely fantastic. Great atmosphere, clean dining area, and friendly service. The fajitas came with a rib that put it over the top. I was a little put off by the "steak"... but it was good and should probably be listed as skirt steak... no biggie, since the flavor was spot on. I would have like to find a couple of local beers on tap, since Birmingham has some great craft beer brewery...but this is a Tex-Mex joint so... you can't have it all. This is the place... don't pass it up!

Fairly good Mexican food. I went with a group of five and they got my plate wrong. Everybody else got their plates right. I felt like my food was cold for my taste. Flavor was good and service was average. Dessert was great.
