Royal Cod - Manchester - Photo album

My family have been coming to this chippy for years and it is hands down the best to go to in Manchester. Even when I fly back home from Canada, it’s a must to visit here for authentic fish and chips. The curry selection is great, lots of offers and children’s options available. We sit in and everyt
Decent food (I’ve only had the F&C). Pleasant service. What more do you want.
Went with my uncle who is disabled they were so helpful in every way and the food was fantastic very good portions the chicken burger was lovely thankyou guys we will be back x
Great chippy, good sized portions for the price. Much better value for your money than you get at Atlantic. Love the spicy curry sauce.
Extremely nice man running The Royal Cod. Fish and chips always fresh, not sitting under a heater for hours. The haddock, which is my preferred fish, comes in small or large portions. A large portion is sufficient for two and the chip portions are very generous. Because everything is made to order t
Really lovely staff. Food was great. Fish freshly fried to order.
First time at Royal Cod tonight. Extremely good fish and chips and my daughter loved her battered sausage! Generous portions and good value for money. The gentleman and lady behind the counter were really friendly too. We will be back!
Best chippy around here. Huge portions and high quality ingredients cooked well.
Some might say that this is the best chippy in Manchester and from all the ones I’ve tried (quite a few), I would have to agree. I travel from Ancoats to Chorlton for this!
Best fish & chips around by far. Choice of fish cod or haddock cooked fresh when you order. Chips are good to. Highly recommended.
Best fish and chips EVER. This place even has seating, nice comfortable seats too. Foods lovely, generous portions, freshly battered fish, you can't go wrong. Highly recommend 👌
Always great, fresh fish in tasty batter and crisp delicious chips. Friendly service and great value too
Best chippie in Chorlton. The staff are absolute gems. And the food is top quality. First choice every time.
Good sized portions. Vegetarian gravy and curry sauces. Good spring rolls. Pleasant staff. Seats a few people extra 50p per person.
Back in Madchester for a week from sunny Dubai and obviously have to have fish and chips innit. I did try another place named after an ocean and my god it was awful, then tried one in Chorlton opposite the Baths and was disgusting, I am still burping the taste of old smelly oil after 3 days. Royal
