Great place to eat. The food is lovely. Best view in the park. Having a bite to eat and looking at the boating lake. The two young girls that work there are a credit. Always happy and smiling and are always very helpful..

Hi, I'm a regular visitor as I have been lucky enough to retire early.
I love walking (occasionally running) in the park but enjoy dropping by for a latte while I listen to some tunes and watch the world go by.
Today I was served by Olivia. I have seen her before and really must commend her customer service, which is second to none. She's welcoming, smiling and very friendly.
Thank you and hopefully I'll be calling in again very soon.

I was served by Skye who was lovely and friendly. The food and drinks were ready very quickly and were brought outside to where we were sitting.

The staff are amazing at Lakeside Cafe. Always a friendly welcome and the best service. They are a real credit to you. Food was lovely. Regular lattes I get always made perfect.

Had a lovely vegan afternoon tea in the dome today. This was one of the nicest vegan afternoon teas I've ever had and had to take some of the cakes home as I was so full. We were served by Angel who was a lovely host. Also has a lovely view of the lake.Thank you!

I booked a dome for afternoon tea for partners birthday. Food was delicious. I had the vegan option which was really well thought out rather than just dupes of the classic. We were served by Angel who was very polite, professional and helpful. Angel went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed and extra as its been such a hot day. Angel made sure the children were kept hydrated. Thank you Angel

We love the lake side cafe - really convenient next to the lovely children’s play park and great for feeding the ducks and geese - a firm favourite activity for our toddler! The prices are a little high for some of the drinks - which means we are less likely to buy more than one - but for convenience and service - great!

Brought my Mum for a suprise for her 70th birthday. Angel was a lovely, attentive host. The food was absolutely delicious. Both the manager and Angel were helpful when we asked for takeaway boxes, it got a little too hot in the dome in the sun and they couldn't have been more apologetic and understanding despite it not being their fault. Highly recommend.

Lovely cafe, but dreadful chaotic staff who didn't know what they were doing.
You didn't know where to stand for ordering or where to stand to wait for food. It was very random. The saving grace was the sandwich was very good when it was ready.
Menu on the wall hard to see needs reviewing. Yet good seating inside and out and amenities were clean.
I would give the cafe a second chance.
