I went shopping this morning and the store paper bags didn’t hold up to the very wet weather. The staff were so lovely and helpful and gave me a binliner to replace my by now disintegrating paper bags. Thank you so much. Little bit of Manchester magic right there.

A great find in Central Manchester. Browsed the local and family history stacks nextvto the cafe then enjoyed a cuppa.

Although the food is a little boring and the vegan options seem almost nill....I still enjoy going here and hanging out. Quite often take my own food as the vegan food isn't available when I go.

Nice place if a bit high traffic and not enough tables, the staff were lovely and you can't complain about gettung to have lunch in a library, my main qualm is with the foods.
There's a goodly amount of sandwiches, wraps, cakes, buns and fruit but no real hot food, which I understand, but the prices for the more snacky stuff which you can get are surprisingly high so it'd be difficult for most to get more than just a snack in most cases, which makes it feel more like a tuck shop than a cafe to me, hah.
Otherwise, no real conplaints of the place beyond very minor nitpicks.
