Siam Corner

My wife and I were in the mood for Thai tonight, found out this place just opened, and decided to stop by. OMG we are glad we did. Having moved here about 2 years ago, we had yet to find a place as good as we had in CA, well this is it! Ordered the Tom Kai, Siam spring rolls, mango curry, and mango & sticky rice. Everything was amazing. The spice was just right, and it gets spicy, the curry is well balanced, shrimp is plump, and the mango & sticky rice was just sweet enough. I've had Thai all over the US and this place is one of my favorite. If you like traditional Thai, you'll love it here

I am addicted! The Tom Kha Chicken soup is the type of soup that will lift your spirits on a tough day. It's the ultimate comfort food. Don't let coconut milk intimidate you from trying it. It's savory, sweet, and creamy and I can't get enough. I also really love the Thai Fried Rice. You just have to experience it. I've had some unremarkable Thai food from other restaurants, but this place is really special and the first to really stand out to me. The quality and freshness are there, the portions are enough to share/have leftovers, you can tell the recipes and flavors are refined, and the food crafted with love and care. Who knew Mansfield, Texas could be so lucky to have such a gem! Warning about the spice: they do not play around. I took someone here who ordered a 5 out of 7 because they thought they knew their way around spice. I tried to warn them. They could only eat a few bites. I order medium and find it's just enough, but if you're not sure, don't try to impress anyone and just start with mild lol. Work your way up from there. I usually order takeout but the one time I dined in, I heard customers raving to the server about the food.

Despite their green curry not being my favorite this is still my favorite Thai place in the area. Portions are big and prices are better than anywhere else. Can't beat their lunch prices. Soup or salad with every entree too. Their fresh roll is super tasty. Great tom kha soup. It's loaded, and the chicken is delicious.
