Red Lobster

We were a party of 5 celebrating a birthday. It was great to be able to drop my parents (in their 80's) right at the covered front door before parking close by. Our waitress took great care of us making sure we had full glasses of water and whatever else we needed. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms while deciding our meals. Then four of us ordered from the special menu that included soup or salad, an appetizer and a main course. Clam chowder, lobster bisque, Caesar salad, coconut shrimp and shrimp cocktail were all great. So were the main courses of shrimp linguine, salmon, shrimp Baja bowl, and my son's shrimp scampi. If course we munched on the famous cheese biscuits too. All in all it was a delightful dining experience.

No salmon, when salmon is on special for the day, no substitute, drinks were poorly made. No iceberg lettuce, no sauce for kung whatever noodles. This was the third time they told us they don't have something within ten min of sitting down to eat. My drink that's was supposed to be top shelf long island all ice hardly and liquor ( see in pic) brussel sprouts are inedible over cooked lobster was the size of my friggin fork and crab smelled a month old. Sick to my stomach from the shrimp that I did eat in the ultimate feast. Of all franchise RL would not recommend this one to anyone did not eat half my meal and ended up paying for family of four. Sad and disappointed was really looking forward to the red lobster 🦞 I have known over the years will not be going back. What I failed to mention 3/4 of our food were left of the table. Our sever was great Caitlin R. Deserves a raise for handling the situation so gratuitously . Poor product poor kitchen preparation.

Okay so first of all I grew up coming here every Saturday and then as I got older it was three times a month and then two and so on… I loved it. Until they raised prices and DOWNSIZED portions. So we quit coming. It was not worth it. Then we went back for a family members birthday and had the worst service a few weeks ago. Never got a refill on our drinks until we asked for a second time and never got our extra napkins that we always ask for. And I always ask for no croutons on my salad. AND GET THEM EVERY TIME. We said it would be a while before we came back again. We came back on Saturday and had great service. Of course it wasn’t busy. But at the same time here’s the downside- I ordered the new lemon cake, thought it would be a good sized piece. Wrong. It was absolutely tiny for 9.00 dollars. About the size and length of a Roku remote. FOR $9.00??? An absolute disgrace. This is the last time we ever go back.

I only eat here once a year because I'm not much of a seafood eater but, a dear family member really enjoys it and we ( 9 of us) always come here for her B-day dinner. However, everyone in our party thought the food just wasn't up to par. Seemed bland/ lacking that good flavor this time around. Friendly server and the orders were all correct though.
