Campbell's Soul Cafe

We were on the way to visit the Mansfield battlefield and stumbled on this place! We had the fish plate and the catfish was absolutely delicious! It was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The owner was a wonderful welcoming lady who made our experience an unforgettable one. We would definitely visit again if we come back to Mansfield!

Working in Mansfield, LA for 3 short days - not much to choose from for lunch. Googled this place, and I will be back the remainder of my stay. Good ‘ole down home soul food cooking, fresh-prepared and served by some wonderful owners. I had the thin-fried butter-flied pork chop, with green beans, corn, and cornbread, and not even close to disappointed with anything. The chop was excellent! And meal even came with a delicious slice of pound cake. Appears besides the regular menu, they coffee a special of the day as well, which friend says was great also. Do NOT let the building or location deter you - make this stop. Most refreshing find for a such a small town. Highly recommended.

This is a long one y'all. Oh wow!!! I'm a float RN and had been coming to Mansfield a few times. This particular day just had a taste for a homemade burger, so I asked one of the patients about Mansfield Diner...it's ok but if you want an off the chain go to Campbell's. BURGERVANA!!!! from the toasted bun, grilled onions(extra for me) cheese, REAL fried crunchy BACON....ooooohhh y'all brought tears( nostalgia) of what burgers were back in the day!! I might just drive down to sample the home cooked menu ...that burger was KING!!
