Just happened to mention to a friend we were going over the Mansfield(90min drive away for us. ) so we popped the destination in the sat nav & WOW this is a hidden little gem! …
Food is always home cooked and fresh. The staff are always friendly and have time to chat. Nice selection of drinks and plenty of no alcohol options, they have a range of ales that change regular so you can always try something new to drink.

Love this pub. Food is home made. I just wish the pie portions would stop getting smaller. The last 5 times we have visited the fantastic beef n Stilton pie is slowly disappearing.
Popped in on the of chance and we were not disappointed! Friendly, attentive staff, great atmosphere and hit a 10/10 for the Sunday roast! Definitely been made with love!
