Really cosy and welcoming atmosphere. The pub is far bigger than it looks on the outside and has everything you could really want - excellent selection of beer that is fairly priced, a pool table, dart board, games machine and jukebox, as well as lots of space. The landlord and landlady, Matt and Rebecca, are very accommodating and friendly and the staff provide excellent service with a smile!

I recently visited with friends and what an amazing experience. Customer service was friendly, the pub was clean and the drinks are cheap! Great atmosphere before heading into town. I spoke with the new Landlord & Lady Matt & Bec all about their plans in the future and i'm excited to see this pub really take off again! Brilliant! Thank you :)

Love this pub! Great local pub on your way into town. Only gave 4 on food as I've only eaten once, I think, and it was great. Provide sausage and/or bacon cobs on a race day and food prices are very good and service is always polite and friendly. Don't forget, it's the brewery who charge the prices, not the landlord Lee 😉

This is, without doubt, a Brilliant Pub. If you're local you will already know how good it is, if not, then rest assure that this pub is a very warm,clean and welcoming place indeed. Great selection of beers with Brilliant facilities for a family or just a couple of workers calling in. Plenty of parking and outdoor seating at the rear, with a clean and well kept fun area for the kids when the weather is good. William lV is loving known locally as the 'Top House' and is certainly a Top Pub. A traditional two sided style set up venue with hot meals available and even a nice sheltered area for the Old Smokers, lol. The staff are exceptional and very polite. This is a certainly a great pub/venue that sets the standard.
