Nando's Mansfield

Not ever been a fan after a rubbish experience some years ago. Our first trip after so long didn't start so good either as we were not aware it was akin to a cafe with go to the till and prepay... when we did grab the jist of it after a little while and then we went full hog modern and ordered on the app!! I was pleasantly surprised with the flavours of the starters and the mains. Not so pleasantly surprised that I had to supply myself with fighting irons, napkins, sauces etc then to only have to go and get my own drinks. So, overall it was nice food, I just wonder how long it will be before customers are required to cook the dishes too... and then wash them afterwards come to that. It's a cafe.... no, surely not. It's the Nando experience, I get it. Quick serve food for busy busy people. Competition??? Miller and Carter if you're happy to pay a couple of quid more on the lunchtime special menu wins hands down. One thing for sure though... the manager was absolutely spot on... taking my constructive criticism on the nose and accepting they have to ensure that the customer is welcomed correctly every time. If you've not been, then go but, tell them it's your first visit when you walk in. Enjoy.

Great evening. It was really busy, but we were still served quickly and all the waiting staff had smiles on their faces Out waitress Hannah, was fantastic. She really works hard to ensure that she delivers fantastic customer service and despite being very busy still had a huge smile on her face and was happy to talk to us, without causing any detriment to other customers.
