Always a pleasant experience, we nip in every now and again for a bit of lunch and have never been disappointed. Service is always extremely friendly and efficient. Great selection of food and drinks (we drink low alcohol and they're is a decent choice of mocktails and low % lager) Recommended if you live local or are passing though. Free parking and a large beer garden is a bonus.

Great value for money on food. Service is usually very good unless very busy, then it's still good. Atmosphere depends on what you want, football/ sports on all large screens in all areas apart from dining side where it's more family appropriate. You can still eat in the screened areas too. The only let down, sometimes, is the ladies toilets. Definitely ready for a refurbishment.

First impressions on entering were a bit grim. Very worn and tired looking. Tables and chairs could do with replacing. Members of staff were very efficient, polite and helpful. Drinks were served very quickly even though it was busy. Did not have to wait long for the food to be brought out either. We both had fish and chips which was lovely. The portion was ok, however other Greene Kings serve a slightly bigger portion. Overall would go here again, can't grumble at anything for £5.49 each.

The food is as good as you can expect it's just your typical pre packaged pub food which is industry standard across the board anyway. Nothing special. The steak pie is fire though and I was told it was homemade and of order this you will love it. It's an amazing pie. Would highly recommend trying it. Now to the worse part. The waiter messed up everyone's orders. Where we said not to put something on they put it on or gave us something different than what we asked for. Also they gave us someone else's food somehow. Finally we had to ask for cutlery. A young gentleman saw us talking badly about the experience and immediately came over to talk to us to correct the mistakes. For you whales out there you'll love this. There is an ice cream sundae with 4000+ calories so if you are trying to clog your arteries and get that sweet diabetes this one is for you my pseudo American weighted friend. Edited because I this was my tables experience. I can't complain about what I myself experienced so I bumped up the score.

Cant complain about the food as we only had a few bags of crisps and some peanuts but they were nice. Drinks were good they were filled to the top of the glass. Service got 4 stars due to staff being quite rude towards the end of the night. Atmosphere got 4 stars because the little shed outside are lovely in this heat but when it gets a bit colder later into the night the heaters aren’t working.
