Called on way after a walk with the dog ..which by the way is a dog friendly pub ... Under new management too ... Had a small meal which was great value for money and really nice ... real chips too no frozen or a two minute ping meal ...Enjoyed the spirit of the young bar man who really wants to make ago of the pub ..great keep it up ...Will return without a doubt .. Thank you.

First time visit for cycling Tour of Britain, what a lovely classic pub clean friendly good choice on food and drink, very nice👍🚴♂️

Hard to fault our meal this weekend, cosy pub with few in, nice and quiet despite the football being on.
Good choice of food and menu different to chain pubs - a few nice choices on offer.
Sharing platter starter is a bargain and destroyed any chance of us both trying a pudding.
We'll definitely be back.
