Me and my wife have been looking for a chinese restaurant that actually does gluten free options for ages! I can eat gluten but my wife is intollerant and near enough all chinese restaurants/takeaways contain gluten and appears that most are not willing to do GF options.
Found purple diamond on the off chance and literally everything we ordered could be made gluten free. Whatsmore, you honestly couldn't taste any difference between the GF options and non GF (from what i've had in the past).
We've only had takeaways from here, but upon collecting the food, the restaurant always seems to have a nice vibe to it and always seems like people are eating there throughout the week. (always a good sign!)
Overall great tasting food, good menu, and a perfect chinese for anyone with Gluten sensitivites or even Vegan options if thats your thing also. They do appear to cater for all!

Been to this restaurant many times for good few years, has changed slightly since covid- hasn't everything. But foods still amazing, staff still lovely. But changes are mainly menu wise. Still great choices to be had and still good variety. Forgot to get photos as we all dug in 🤣

Food was amazing, everything so fresh and tasty, not to mention that there was loads of it. We ended up taking main dishes as take away as we were so full from the starters. Cocktails are great and unusual recipes. Service was excellent! We'll definitely be back next time we're in March.

Gluten and dairy free - ordered takeaway after finding they cater for dietary requirements. To avoid confusion, I ordered everything gf/df and everything was spot on. Came well labeled and lovely & hot. Even those not needing gf/df said they would order that way again. Ate far too much but was so nice to eat Chinese confidently and not be ill. Will be sure to return soon.

Fantastic meal. Our entire party was extremely impressed with the service and the food. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and the the banquet was excellent. Great choice and amazing vegetarian menu. We will be returning very soon.

Went there for a birthday dinner and food was fabulous - freshly cooked and super tasty! They also catered for gluten free - and again, that was excellent!! Very reasonably priced - will be returning

I ordered via phone for gluten free and dairy free. I was amazed how much they could cater for allergens, and it was clearly labelled on collection.
First time in over 20 years I have had chicken balls which I adored.

Was recommended to try this place as my husband is gluten free and hasn't been able to have a proper Chinese meal since diagnosis years ago.... the long and the short of it is this may be the best Chinese food (with or without gluten!) we have EVER had! They were so helpful in catering for the gluten free side and we both enjoyed our meals enormously. The food was ready to collect when they said it would be, was fresh, hot and delicious. And free prawn crackers too which most places don't do any more! Can't wait to try the other dishes on the menu, only downside is we now have takeaway temptation back in our lives 🤣Can't recommend highly enough - would give more stars if possible!
