Such a lovely welcome. Guy behind the bar chatted to me straight away despite me not being a local.
The beer I had was lovely and cold and I got to enjoy it in a large beer garden looking out over fields and hills.
There was a children's play area. And a separate place for people to eat that doesn't allow smoking.

Really lovely pub and the food was really delicious. Very friendly staff. It’s been decorated lovely and looks to have a nice garden for the summer months to enjoy a few evening drinks. Will be returning for sure.

Nice local pub. Went with the wife.Decent food (Sunday lunch) nice pint and fairly priced. Can't go wrong really, nice outside area we sat in because the sun was out, spoke to the landlord who was a nice chap. Give it a go if your in the area.

First time through the doors for a long time. Staff are pleasant and welcoming and very attentive to wheelchair user in our group.
The only negative was the food portions. After eating at another pub in the same group, the amount of food served was significantly less than the other pub. Also my steak pie appeared to pre-cooked not homemade.

Excellent pub with lovely food highly recommend. Staff are so nice and hospitable could not do more for us and so polite. Defo go if your visiting the area.

I am coach driver and today I visited here with my party of 63 on the way to the races(pre booked). Fantastic service, lovely breakfast. Nothing was too much for them. Food was served lovely and hot. They were also very accommodating when I announced im a vegetarian, they took the time to make me a veggie breakfast even through I had asked for anything special. Would recommend.

Great local pub, have lived in the village for many years and recently moved from the area, but always return. The menu is outstanding got choice affordable dishes. Great for a light lunch or an evening meal. The landlady is extremely friendly and made us feel valued as a customer. The team are more than happy to help with any thing we need. Loved the fact I can take my dog with me. Great outdoor space. Love the new extension garden room and the roof opens when the weather is warm. Great selection of lagers and ciders. Juke box rocking out some great tunes.all in all a great ambience looking forward to a good knees up.

Very good atmosphere. Food was delicious and staff were fantastic.. lovey setting in a lovely quiet village pub. Can’t wait to come again and bring some of the family.

Took my mother and brother & dog for a meal today and found the staff polite and very friendly plus the meals we had were excellent will go there again.
