Delicious fresh food. I tried the Fata chicken, tasted amazing. The rice was made in away you can taste that it is well cooked, not just streamed rice. I don't know what is exactly the sauce they put on the rice but it was amazing. The crispy bread inside the rice was a bonus. The chicken was awesome too The fact that is a family business make you feel that food made with love

Really good food. It reminded me of my trip to Egypt. I would recommend getting their falafel. Everything on the menu is good.

Gorgeous cute café, the owners are so welcoming and friendly. The food is very reasonable and delicious 🤤 The falafel 🥙 was so moist and delicious very different than other places. The only thing I would preferred if they have toilets.

Small friendly Egyptian cafe/restaurant close to Margate sea front. Very tasty food . Lovely friendly server. Nice decor too. Throw back to black and white movie days with Omar Sharif. Plus pretty beaded tiles in toilet!!

Absolutely delightful cafe, really wonderful, inexpensive and delicious food. Both the vegan and vegetarian Egyptian breakfasts were lovely. The best falafel I've ever had!

I am so happy we stumbled upon this little cafe on our walk around the old market looking for a place to eat. My Egyptian husband saw the Arabic writing and heard the tones of Umm Kulthum and knew he was "home"! It's been a year since we had koshary so we was delighted and my family loved the shawarma and aubergine dishes. Our only regret now is that we didn't have Om Ali for dessert! Lovely owners and I wish them all the best and hope they are there when we return to Margate in the future, Insha'Allah!

the foods we ordered were simple but beautifully executed - the fried aubergine served with a warm toasted pita and a tahini dip was so flavourful! great prices and friendly service too. thank you 💕
