We were treated to Easter Sunday lunch here yesterday by my Mother and Father in-law and it was one of the best meals I have ever had! The pub is adorable and quaint with lots of lovely candles scattered everywhere. The staff were lovely and attentive. I ordered the chicken and when our food arrived at the table it came with the biggest cauliflower cheese ever! The best ive ever had!
Every single bite of that food was full of flavour, the chicken was juicy, the potatoes were crispy and the gravy, which came in the most adorable milk churn on your plate, was amazing. The desserts were massive and i ordered the pavlova and i couldn't believe the amount of fresh fruit on it!
Perfect meal and perfect weekend with family. I think my partner is getting fed up of me waffling on about the cauliflower cheese!!!

I had brunch here for my Birthday last Saturday for 15 people - this was a request and not something they usually do, but they were more than happy to facilitate my request (even though they were busy for normal lunch service!) We had the whole village bar to ourselves which was lovely meaning we could play our own music and made it intimate. It also helped as it meant that my friends toddler could run around safely. They provided a huge selection of breakfast food including potato cakes, black pudding, vine tomatoes, 2 types of eggs, mushrooms and some of the best sausages I've ever had! The table was decorated beautifully and we had Prosecco and Orange juice which was a nice touch. We had a fabulous afternoon and the service and atmosphere was superb and I cannot thank them enough! I've just booked in again this Friday for Dinner!
Really nice bar. Driven past a few times and can easy miss it. But worth the stop. Nice insides, very clean. Plenty of outdoor space and seats. Service of a Wednesday night was very prompt. Menu varied enough for anyone's tastes. Duck was sublime. Hope to return soon
This is a cute quintessential country pub- a must try.
The food is hearty and served swiftly. While the price point may seem high to some, it is certainly worth it. All our meals were fantastic and not one complaint between the seven of us.
The staff are kind and they are the right mix of professional and friendly. I would highly recommend it if you're looking for good food, good chat, and a good atmosphere. Top notch!
We held our wedding here & would just like to recommend the White Horse Inn to anyone thinking of having a special celebration. Food & service was excellent & nothing was too much trouble. Thank you to Mike & his team for such happy memories of a special day.
The food was fantastic. I had the sirloin steak, which was perhaps one of the best I've ever had. My wife had scampy and chips which she enjoyed.
I've knocked off one star as we did wait nearly an hour for our meal. However to be fair they had a big party table to serve and getting some 15 to 20 meals out at the same time would have been a challenge!
We will definitely be back.
Called in for a cheeky pee while passing, but had such friendly banter with a member of staff I decided to say. What a good result! Lovely beer with a decent selection to choose from. Although I didn’t eat on this occasion, I’ll certainly pop in again soon just to try the food. The portions seemed quite generous and I never heard anything other than satisfied compliments from eating customers.
Had a great couple of hours. Well worth the effort go go off the beaten track.
This was an amazing find. Terrific garden area with lots of space. Inside a very characterful bar and lounge and again lots of space with a special chair for the pub dog! Staff very friendly and very good food. Worth all the stars.
Nice, quiet old style pub serving good food and craft beers. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Dogs are made to feel comfortable to with their own seat beside the bar

Stopped there are our pub crawl of Mark lol great atmosphere, lovely staff and good price, Garden was also well maintained. Did not have food so have left blank
