Absolutely delicious Sunday carvery. Choice of 2 meats today , pork and beef. All homemade. Fantastic. Treacle sponge with ice cream AND custard for Hubby! Loved it. Can't wait for another visit.

A great little find the pub/restaurant, it’s a proper pub, none of this chain lark, a great feel when you walk in, priced very well aswell, 3 cokes a carling pint, 2 packs of crisps £12 😀 the food smelt fantastic but we wasn’t eating as we was just stopped for a drink, definitely will next time we pass! Shut on Mondays though! Nice garden outside, few apple trees 🌳 A good traditional pub, if I lived local I’d be in there all the time 😃

We stopped off here for lunch yesterday. First, I popped in to ask if we could bring our dogs inside, all OK. As we brought them in we were met by the landlady bringing a bowl of water for them. Amazing service. We had a fantastic lunch, large portions, beautifully cooked and delicious. I can recommend the gammon and the rhubarb crumble. Lovely place and friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit.

It was our daughters 10th birthday today and we were out for the dsy and we're looking for pubs nearby for us to eat out at. Partner checked the reviews and we headed there. Must admit we were a little apprehensive at first because of how quiet it was, but it was definatley worth it we all really enjoyed the food, the tavern burger was delicious as was the I house homemade steak and guiness pie. Even accommodated for our boy who didn't want anything off the menu. Overall really happy. Definately recommend it to anyone who may be passing by to give them a try.

We had a lovely Sunday carvery and pudding. Staff were lovely as well, if not a little short handed. They were very kind to our 18 months old grandbaby who was with us.
