Recently taken over and the food is fantastic meat is 'melt in your mouth'. Lovely out of the way rural location. Plenty of parking and an outside beer garden. Will go again.

Lovely quiet old pub with a lively outdoor seating area and cosy bar area with seating. Service with a smile from the staff as well. Definitely recommend.

Had a lovely carvery, last Sunday, at the Old Thatched Inn. Beautifully cooked choice of meats, the vegetables were perfectly cooked and such a selection. Very warm welcome from all the staff, who checked that we had everything we needed and that we were enjoying our meal. We'll done Cindy, best carvery we have had for quite some time. We shall definitely be back ASAP!

Well! Almost 5 decades of Sunday Dinners and I can quite honestly say, I've found THE home of Sunday Roasts. Everything was cooked to perfection. The meat drops off the fork and melts in your mouth. The roast potatoes were crispy on the outside & soft in the middle. The veg was tender with a slight bite.... Just PERFECT!
As for the homemade desserts. My taste buds were in heaven. They're out of this world.

Called in for a drink late on a Thursday night. Everyone inside was super friendly and welcoming. Really nice environment to relax with a beer. Definitely worth a visit.

Had a beautiful home cooked carvery on Sunday.. the 3 roast meats were all cooked to perfection. So nice to see the veg all lovely and fresh.We were met with a warm welcome from the new land lady and the young chef came out and chatted with us after to make sure we were happy with our meal.
We thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday lunch and will definitely be returning.
Don't be swayed by the poor reviews in the past it's been completed turned around and worth a visit!!

First time eating a carvery, at this under new management family run village pub. Excellent all round would definitely go again. Thank you to Cindy Mark Daniel and the rest of the staff, for such a warm welcome.

Amazing to have such an enthusiastic and knowledgeable person back in the village running the Thatch. The atmosphere...well, there is one now! Whether it be for a themed evening, event, live music or just a drop in for a quick refreshment. You are always greeted with a friendly face and made to feel welcome. Food is delicious and if you manage to get a booking, their Sunday lunch is perfect with juicy meats, al dente veg and a selection of drinks to accompany it. Sunny, well done you've turned that place around and we look forward to what comes next!
P.S. the cocktails are delicious... especially the lychee martini! 😋
