Super lunch time treat. Polite service, fabulous food--plenty of choice for everyone! And the wine was superb too.

Really lovely new restaurant, serving a small plate menu. I'm one of those annoying gluten free people and the server instantly knew which dishes were suitable (lots of options), which always makes me feel more comfortable. All our choices were good, I particularly liked the chowder. I loved the clever menu titled 'The Sea', 'The Land' and 'The Allotment' covering fish, meat and vegetarian/vegan options. The latter were as well considered as the fish and meat options. Puddings were also enjoyable. The server was brilliant. I would highly recommend this place and I hope it gets lots of custom.
On a visit to Marlborough we visited Hillier and loved the ambiance, service and food offering at this fabulous little restaurant. One of us is GF and this was not only not a problem but she was provided with an interesting and tempting menu selection. There is great skill and touch in the kitchen and warmth and welcome in the hospitality plus an interesting and reasonable wine list. We hope to return.
Spotted this place whilst walking around Marlborough today and popped in for dinner tonight. Glad we did. Excellent selection of wines great small plates to eat. Very attentive staff. Will definitely come back next time in Marlborough.
Wonderful food, beautifully served and with the most wonderfully welcoming hosts! Off the beaten track just a little (down Hilliers Yard!) but a must-try for anyone looking for exceptionally high quality small plates (British tapas) yumminess in a lovely surrounding. And if you're not hungry, also amazing for some of the best cocktails in town, enjoyed downstairs or on the decking in summer!
Absolutely brilliant. My wife and I had been looking forward to trying Hilliers for a while. We weren't disappointed. Lovely, family run place where they genuinely care and are passionate about the food that's served. We managed to cover off a large amount of the items on the menu, but are looking forward to returning to try more in the future. Thanks for a lovely evening.
Fabulous restaurant, with an upmarket bistro feel. Excellent service, and astonishingly good and imaginative small plates, which was not surprising when we learnt that the chef used to be the head chef for Raymond Blanc.

I enjoyed a delightful wedding anniversary meal here recently. This family-run restaurant serves up delicious "small plate" dishes packed with flavour - including some fantastic dishes made from local game. A wide range of wines are available by the glass - which is rare in my experience. Really great hospitality too. Perfect for all occasions.
Great restaurant with 1st class food and service. A great idea of small plates allowing you to sample more of the superb food. Highly recommended and we will be visiting again in the near future
We had a tremendous meal at Hilliers with our young family last week. The small plates concept was brilliant; we were able to try lots of different dishes and the service and atmosphere were outstanding too!
I would highly recommend a visit to this restaurant.
