Glaze Restaurant

Throughly enjoyed the afternoon tea, the food was excellent. We were seated in the conservatory which over looks the grounds and lake, lovely to look out too despite the very grim weather. We were served by Mohi who was extremely tentative, he couldn’t do enough for us. Would highly recommend and look forward to revisiting soon (hopefully to try the spa & restaurant!)

Lovely hotel with beautiful view of the lake. We stayed there for one night stay on New Year’s Day. Very welcoming staff and the rooms were spacious. We dined in the Glaze restaurant and I must say that the food was absolutely delicious, service was second to none. before leaving the hotel we decided to go for afternoon tea and it was one of the best experiences we have had ( the view from the conservatory is breathtaking). We will definitely visit again.

I’ve been staying for a week for work and eaten here every evening. the food and service is lovely - the barman Jonathon in particular was friendly, helpful and accommodating to such a big group of us I think the kitchen team were not used to serving a big group for bar food but they handled it well. I also booked a massage in the spa and can say this was excellent, very relaxing, removing all the tension from my shoulders after a long day of work I would recomend booking a treatment in advance as they do fill up fast!

We enjoyed our dinners at the restaurant - nice quiet atmosphere, fast and friendly service and delicious food. One improvement for waiting staff would be to advise diners ordering partridge that it may have metal pellets in the meat from where the birds were shot. Our waiter didn't warn us and I had an unpleasant surprise when I bit on a metal pellet. We alerted the waiter but there was no apology and I was told that it was 'normal'. Not so sure that it was normal not to pre-warn, especially if I got a broken tooth! Luckily I didn't.

Stayed at this hotel for Valentine’s Day weekend with a package that came with the 4 course meal set menu. It’s a nice restaurant located inside the hotel. The food was nice and service was a bit slow as it got busy that evening. Has a nice bar next to the restaurant and also has a outdoor dining area. The starter was ok, but the main and the fresh oysters were tasty! Overall it was a good experience. Would recommend if you were staying at the hotel.

This dinner was a part of an overnight stay with my partner at the Crowne Plaza Hotel - Marlow. The restaurant environment in the evening was super quiet (we had the last reservation) and it was low-lit, perfect for a romantic date night. Our evening meal itself was fabulous - the ceviche of chalk Stream Trout starter (with caviar I think or something similar) was lovely, the chicken tikka (my partner's meal) was tasty and the medium-rare Sirloin Steak was impeccable and nicely cooked. Compliments to the chef for this last minute order! 🤎
