The food was so good at the Balti we had it on two nights of our week long stay in a cottage. Chicken korma, lamb bhuna, ch tikka masala, rice and garlic and peshwari naans. They deliver. I collected, and due to flooding, road closures and an accident I was late collecting both times. Both times the staff insisted on providing fresh chips instead of letting me leave with soggy ones! They even sent me on my way with a complimentary beer the second time. We didn't eat in, but the restaurant is set in a beautiful old (Victorian?) venue. Great food, lovely people. Thanks 'The Balti', good job.

Food was delicious. Only reason for four stars is there is quite a big price difference between their takeout and sit in menu, all main courses are £5 more expensive if you sit in!

We have visited at least three times and have been very happy with every aspect of our meals there - it’s very clean and much more spacious - food is excellent and service brilliant with a relaxing ambience helped by the huge wall hangings depicting scenes from India

No Nagra, Samosa made with pastry, don't think they were home made, but great service and food OK.

Excellent welcome, even though it was busy they managed to find us a table, the atmosphere is relaxed & service is relaxed & pleasant. The food was very tasty and served piping hot & freshly cooked (excellent for vegetarians). The final bill was a bit expensive, but well worth it for the quantity & quality.

This is only our second time here, but must say. The Staff Service Excellent, The Atmosphere Excellent. The Food was beyond Excellent as I told The Boss there. We have NEVER tasted any better Indian Food such as what is Served there. Definitely Highly Recommended and would be willing to travel from Mansfield everytime. Many thanks
