Good food. Great place as Matlock Bath can be a little commercial. It's nice to have some good honest food and coffee in a cool almost industrial vibe coffee shop. We had coffee which could have been a bit stronger but it was tasty and some breakfast that you can see in the picture. We will pop back as we need to try a hot chocolate and some cake as it looked amazing

It is a small independent coffee shop, with a great selection of hot drinks ranging from tea and coffee to hot chocolates of many varieties (I had a black forest one, which really did taste as advertised) to freak shakes. There also looked to be a reasonable selection of coffee shop cakes and savoury food. It was a little cold inside, the decor was fun, but there were stacked chairs in places, also there was no music and no disabled access it would seem (it's based in a very old/historic building). These last few negative points just stops it from getting 5 stars

Wow, this place is heaven. The freak shake I had was absolutely amazing, and the black forest hot chocolate my fiancée had was also mega tasty. Top job guys 👍

Very nice venue, massive choice of drinks and food. Slightly busy but this would be expected. I would definitely recommend a visit :) outside seating also available.

What an absolutely wonderful coffee shop, the staff were so friendly, nice spacious quirky place, lots of sockets for chargers which is a plus and if you play Pokémon you can reach a stop and a gym 👍
Myself and my daughter went here and liked it so much we went back the same day before leaving to go home.
Would definitely go here again, although we didn't have food it looked delicious from what we saw of others and would sure go back for that.
The staff were really helpful even tho not local.
They allow dogs in too which is really sweet and nice big bowl of fresh water for them outside too, the weather was awful when we went but was nice and warm inside and had it been nicer there was outside seating.

A really lovely cafe. Great coffee & lovely fresh food. The service is exceptional even when I go with my 2yr old who has a dairy allergy nothing is too much trouble. I take his food but always get a drink for him & they bring that with one of the biscuits he can have- lovely welcoming staff & the owner always had a smile & remembers the fact we travel by train. A very special place.

Absolutely love it here!! Took my boyfriend for his birthday as he had no idea what a freakshake was and we both thoroughly enjoyed it! Helpful friendly staff too to make the experience more enjoyable.

We called in, with our dog, for coffee and cake after a glorious walk up to High Tor. The choice of cakes was amazing and the cappuccino was the best we'd had in a very long time-so good that we called in again on our way home to Yorkshire later in the week. The staff were so friendly and great to talk with.
I would highly recommend this cafe, especially if you have a dog. The meals looked lovely too. Will definitely call in again on our next trip to Derbyshire. Thank you.

Love love love this place! Ive been twice in 1 week and come out of my way for a 45 minute drive especially to come here! Its so cute, the staff are on the ball and always have a smile and very pleasant, drinks are perfect and food is perfect and presented beautifully, the gluten free cakes are the best i have ever tasted, i cant wait to bring my best friend here, im kinda working my way through bringing everyone haha i bought my kids at the weekend and today i have bought my work assistant and she has had one of the kinder freakshakes and she absolutely loved it and wants me to bring her back again! Cant wait!

Lovely Caffè just on the outskirts. Of main street opposite car park, serving great home made sandwiches and some stunning cake's. Then the drinks choice is so extensive your spun out (in a very nice way) the ladies serving are very pleasant and helpful.
A good cafe to drop in.
