Had a good chicken burger here with halloumi and sweet potato fries. Nice to have something doing things a bit different in Matlock. Good atmosphere too.

I had the Grilled Chicken and the Halloumi fries - Awesome! Great meal, great atmosphere & amazing staff. If you are ever in Matlock definitely worth a visit.

Still Matlocks best kept secret. The chicken gravy is so full of flavour it alone would keep us coming back. Add the incredible sweet potato chips and a 1/2 chicken with some wonderfully tasteful salad. A must eat.

Contemporary little chicken restaurant. Nicely designed interior, cosy, compact and functional.
Food was good and well presented.
Service overall was good. However there did appear to be a high proportion of staff waiting on tables for the size of the venue. Also, they choose to serve our group table with only 1 waiter, meaning multiple trips. They also mixed up of our orders.
Firejack does not have a bar / licence, but you are welcome to bring your own drinks in.
Update: Firejack are now licenced to sell alcohol.

Very nice meal, very friendly staff. Only down full was it was so busy (guess as food was so good) that it was quite noisy.
Also they have no alcohol license but it can be brought from next door and brought through to the restaurant.
Would definitely go back.
