Doesn't look massively inviting from outside, but after reading reviews though we'd give it a try. Must say, we were very impressed. Tuesday evening, quite busy but got a table straight away for two plus 1 doggy. Good selection of beers/lagers on tap. Menu had too much to think about and the sight of the meals being taken past us from the kitchen only confirmed we had come to a good pub. Portion sizes are quite big, so be prepared. I had one of the best pies I've ever eaten, with chicken, mushroom and lots of tarragon, served with veg, mash and gorgeous thick gravy. Lots of different choices on the menu to choose from and everything we saw looked amazing with many people overheard saying how good their meal was. Highly, highly recommend, plus they allow dogs and provide, water bowls, blankets and treats😊 Loved it, ten stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We stopped here for lunch, superb restaurant, The staff were friendly.
Brilliant choice of food and drinks.
We see some of the meals that went out and they looked amazing!!
We ordered two pizza's, not only was they massive they was soooo tasty.
I highly recommend a visit here, the only negative from us is that we waited 45 minutes for our meal and they brought our accompanying side dish 5 minutes before the main meal ~ however, it didn't subtract our lovely time there.
The food here was absolutely amazing. It tasted amazing and the portions were so big. Worth every penny. I'd definitely come back again to try the other dishes. We had the mint lamb gyros (£16), cajun chicken gyros (£16) and duck spring rolls (£7). They all tasted epic.
We came on a bank holiday Monday and the place was packed. And we had to wait 45 minutes for our food, but the food tasted that good that I have to say that it was worth the wait. The place is also dog friendly - bonus!
