CASH CASH CASH Real good to see small business getting together and keeping cash alive, my food was cooked fresh and was ready prompt, we had 2 mini fish ans chips with peas in pots, there was plenty for us and our infant daughter. The counter was very clean and other customers seemed to be getting served efficiently, the staff clearly know what they’re doing as we attended on a very busy Wednesday last week and they were calm and collective. Will definitely return and will tell more people to use CASH !!!

Busy place but there were plenty of staff who coped like a well oiled team so no long wait. I like busy chippies 'cos everything is hot and tastes just right. Good serving of chips and the steak pudding was hot and flavorsome with a good dousing of thick gravy. I chose to eat out as the weather was nice, and Matlock park is just a swallows flight away. Only had one cheeky pigeon arrived but he got nowt'

Massive portions! Ordered a small chips and mushy peas- it was more than enough for two people. Very tasty mushy peas and freshly cooked chips (not like the reheated ones you get in some places!) would definitely return if back in the area. Good veggie options.. quite liked the sound of battered halloumi too!

We travelled up to Gullivers weekend just gone and came here to get a takeaway for dinner, can I say that the food was freshly made, my son and husband wanted a thinner batter on their fish and the restaurant was understanding enough to accommodate! My husband and I reheated our food ( fish, chips and jumbo sausage) it still tasted fresh! We then returned the next morning for breakfast cobs and again they were really fresh and tasty! Portion size for both meals was spot on! Service was spot on! Will return when we come to visit again! Keep up the great work guys! :)

Lovely little family business, the place was the cleanest chips shop I’ve ever been in. All the staff were very helpful and polite. We visited on the bank holiday and they had queues constantly from when we were waiting to sit in till we had finished our meal. Food was perfectly cooked, very fresh and very quick service. Thoroughly enjoyed it, we will be back again soon
