If you are thinking about visiting A Slice Of Cornwall, this restaurant is for you…..
BOOK A TABLE AND MAKE THE TRIP!!!
Firstly, when you arrive there is plenty of parking at the venue, you will never be stuck for a parking space.
Secondly, upon entering the restaurant the staff are immediately attentive and welcoming even when the place couldn’t be more busy (without an empty seat)!
Thirdly, the menu has plenty of options, however I and everyone else already knew I was getting the overloaded chicken and waffles (highly recommend btw), and there is a long array of beverage options.
Fourthly, the coffee was lovely, the staff are very professional and the service was incredibly quick and attentive. Upon ordering our drinks had arrived in no longer than 5 minuets (to reiterate the place was packed!) and the quality of the brûlée coffee was awesome (AND FOR ONLY £4.20!).
Lastly, the food was amazing, great portion sizes, reasonable prices and juicy tender, fresh fried chicken over soft warm waffles with bacon, sausage and syrup was as good as it could get.
Value for money this place is amazing, hits all of the right notes, atmosphere was also great and I genuinely don’t have a bad word to say.
Left happy, full (satisfied), and didn’t feel like I had been shafted on the price! Great place 100% coming back soon!!!!

Great hidden gem! Staff are always so welcoming and attentive.
Portion sizes are huge and well worth the price point. Always leave feeling full and satisfied. Can't wait to be back

Slice of Cornwall hit highly on every note. The staff were brilliant, the location was amazing and the food was incredible. Portion sizes were huge too and we left very satisfied.
The most delicious food, nice to see some different things on a menu. A good selection of local drinks & The staff were just lovely especially the young woman who served us excellent hospitality skills. ☺️ and we could take the dog (outside seating)
Where do I start… Staff are outstanding, very friendly and had time to explain the huge selection of food on offer. Nothing was to much trouble so a BIG thank you. Compliments to the chef and kitchen staff, meal was delicious and we will be back sometime soon… it appeared extremely busy but you didn’t keep us waiting… everything timed to perfection 👍🏻
Vey good for food , we travelled all the way from Birmingham, feeling hungry… DAN was very helpful for selecting our food & we got it steaming hot ! Good location , very good ambience, only draw back is that bar s not fully loaded & very limited options! Value for money … Must visit !!
Interesting menu and the food we had lived up to the hype. Best lunch we had in Cornwall all week. Beautiful surroundings and the restaurant space had a great contemporary design. Really worth the visit and would definitely return if we were in Cornwall again.
Very attentive and nice service. Reservations are recommended as the restaurant is very busy. Luckily we got a table without a reservation.
The food was absolutely amazing. I found it breathtaking. I've had a few burgers in my time - this one is in a class of its own. This kitchen can do magic! The salad was also phenomenal.
Excellent cafe with lots of seating (outdoor & indoor) & parking in the middle of the countryside. Well prepared, nicely presented food. Very economical.
We went for birthday, table was booked and we arrived to little birthday box on the table, such a lovely touch, we were given time to look at menu, and was asked about allergies, which were duly noted, meal was great staff were friendly and very attentive, such a gorgeous setting, definitely going back ❤️
