We have visited the pot and pantry several times since it opened and cannot find a fault-huge range of hot drinks, cakes and home made food, all of which smell and taste amazing! The service is impeccable aswell, no matter how busy the place is, the owners and staff make time for everybody, you don't feel rushed and your ordered is served to you quickly. Every time we visit, we also pick up a few items from the shop-I highly recommend the jams and tomato sauce-I don't think we will go back to Heinz sauce again!
Found this lovely quaint wee place just by chance, not that it's hidden away, but because I was just out for a drive and fancied something to eat!
Very welcoming and polite staff, nothing was too much trouble for them when asked.
Food was excellent and large portions, so didn't leave feeling hungry.
Good bike stop for coffee and a cake. The Late looked fabulous. The Americno was full bodied and rich
This is such a lovely cafe..... my favourite for miles around. Food delicious, the cakes look fantastic and coffee just right. So glad it has opened again. Staff very friendly and helpful. I will be back!! Thank you.
Fantastic choice of cakes/scones. Coffee freshly and individually made. We wanted to sit outside so had to use the takeaway option. Bit congested around the counter with customers and staff but everyone wearing masks.
Newly re-opened as Flour. Fantastic food in a lovely setting. We both had toastie's which were delicious with a tasty side salad. The cakes along with the individual handmade chocolates are to die for. We decided on a slice of chocolate fudge cake and lemon cake to takeaway. Can't wait to try them. We will definitely be back.
A bit more expensive than the other coffee shop in this small village but excellent nevertheless. Cakes are fantastic and all home made adn the coffee is excellent. Lunches are creative, freshly prepared and always taste good. Not the cheapest of places for a lunch but good value and well worth it if you can afford it every now and then.
What a beautiful lunch spot! My grandparents, mum and me were greeted by Rowan who is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We had a superb lunch - soup and sandwiches and a beautiful pot of loose leaf chamolmile tea. We are looking forward to popping back in the future to be further impressed by a great team who pride themselves on providing excellent food, service and a wonderful atmosphere. You can also buy local produce and gourmet nut butters and hot chocolate.
Although I don’t actually live in Meigle, I go here about once a week normally for lunch.
In all fairness there’s not a lot of competition in this somewhat austere part of rural Perthshire so it’s nice to see a place that actually properly cares about the quality of its coffee and cakes.
In this sense it’s the best I’ve come across within a wide radius. Plus the space feels nice and airy, a pleasant place to be.
The hot meals for breakfast and lunch are perfectly ok, well presented, but not quite as inspired and sadly a little plain. If they could just transport that aspect into the 21st century, give it a bit of love and imagination, then they would have the most perfect place imaginable.
My wife and I visited this acceptional little gem as much as we could whilst on holiday in Alyth this year.
The food is great and the staff are friendly and make your experience all worth while.
I wish we had a cafe near where we live half as good
All the best for the future

Lovely afternoon at The Pot and Pantry. Very generous portion of parsnip and carrot soup accompanied by delicious bread. I can't remember the last time i had a door opened for me...until today ☺
Great wee place with very tasty food. Young and friendly staff that are very welcoming. Nice little place to pop into if you're driving by.
