Sheene Mill (restaurant)

We only looked at one venue and knew from the moment we walked in this was our place! We had our wedding reception at Sheene Mill and I cannot put into words how perfect the venue, service and food was. It was everything we ever wanted and the team were just fabulous looking after everyone with big smiles and warming atmosphere. Our friends and family couldn’t stop complimenting the venue. We opted for a buffet as opposed to a sit down meal and the food was brilliant, everybody loved it. We had some guests stay at the venue and the rooms were perfect. A huge thank you to the team and everyone involved in making it a perfect day. Sheene Mill will forever hold a place in our hearts and we’ll be coming frequently for roast dinners and afternoon tea!

We had a party for my 80th birthday in the conservatory. It is a splendid location, and if it isn’t raining, the gardens are beautiful. As one would expect, the service was exceptional, and the staff were cheerful and attentive. The food was excellent, and whole event was a resounding success. We are looking forward to our next visit!

We had our wedding here and it was a truly brilliant day helped by the lovely staff who went out of their way to help us with all the little extra bits thought the day. Amazing location and beautiful setting, we had the best time here. Really great vegetarian food too! Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our wedding. We went to see Sheene Mill as our first venue and absolutely fell in love. Helen supported us all the way through from planning the day to being an absolute positive force on our big day. Staff couldn't have made it more special if they tried. The locations is beautiful with places to sit outside and inside to chat and spend time with loved ones, the pavilion overlooks the river running through Sheene Mill. Absolutely wonderful day and couldn't be happier. Thank you so much!

We had our wedding here a week ago and it was the most perfect venue and it was the best day. A massive thank you to Helen and her team for making sure everything went smoothly on the day, but in particular Helen for her communication and help in the organisation of our big day. And as for the venue, it is simply stunning and we were lucky enough to enjoy the outdoor space in the sunshine and had the most deliscious food for our BBQ. All the food on the day was amazing, from the canapes right through to the BBQ and evening food. Would highly recommend Sheene Mill to anyone looking for a wedding venue.

Sheene Mill was the perfect venue for our wedding day, it had everything we were looking for and more. We were drawn to the stunning outdoor space which allowed us to have our ceremony outside, as well as garden games. Inside there are multiple different areas for guests to mingle, and we especially loved the little room next to the conservatory which we set up as a kids activity area. Helen and the team are total professionals and were so calming and incredible on the day, ensuring that everything ran seamlessly. The food was amazing, including the delicious breakfast the following morning! We love that Sheene Mill is more than just a wedding venue and can't wait to return for future special celebrations. We recently had our wedding at Sheene mill and I can honestly say it was the perfect day! The venue is stunning! The staff went above and beyond to meet our requests, the food (we had a bbq) was delicious! The rooms were beautiful, I do hope all the rooms are brought up to the standard of rooms 8 & 9 as these are the very best rooms! There is loads of parking, a fully stocked bar, a stunning flower wall, lots of beautiful trinkets and ornaments around that add that little something extra! A beautiful place! Helen was Fantastic on our day and ensured everything went okay! Thank you all of Sheene milk for the best day!

Could not recommend this absolutely stunning venue enough. I got married here on the 17th of June and everything about the day was just amazing. Helen and the team were fantastic and took care of absolutely everything including support with preparations before the day. On the day Helen was so attentive and made me feel so at ease as I knew everything was in place as it should be. She is such a friendly and approachable person, it was such a pleasure to have her running our wedding. We wanted to include my husbands Land Rover in our pictures and Helen went above and beyond to find a nearby field for us to have these pictures in. The food was beautiful, both in presentation and taste and it all came out right on time. Definitely will be going back soon for one of their roasts!! There are not enough words to describe how stunning the gardens are. We had so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful the venue was. It was so peaceful and felt so magical in the evening when all the lights turned on. Could not recommend this venue enough. Thank you so much for making our Wedding Day so perfect.
