Arshee Fried Chicken

We got the big box (6 pieces of generous size fried chicken, 6 nuggets, 3 tenders and 2 regular chips) and this was definitely more than enough for 2 people. I will add the fried chicken does have some spices in the batter which I'm not the biggest fan of but the fried chicken is sooo crispy. The chips were cooked and seasoned perfectly.

If you read reviews about a place before going.... look no further your quest is complete. I don't exaggerate when I say I'd travel across Melbourne to come here. 3 years on from first coming here (but definitely not the only times I've visited), what can I say but consistent excellence. You can't say that about many places. Everything is good, from the burgers to the chicken to the nuggets and chips it's all top notch, always crispy and juicy but never greasy. This sets the bar for fried chicken for all others. This sounds like a fake review....it's not.

I was recommended this place by a friend and I saw it used as a yardstick to go by when others were talking about crispy fried chicken. I decided to give it a shot and it did not disappoint. The chicken were freshly fried (which means you have to wait for a short while) but what you get is freshly prepared, deliciously deeply fried chicken that is crunchy with every single bite. If you are keen for something saucier, their mustard sauce is awesome too! Parking: there is nearby parking just outside and behind the shop. It was during Covid period when this review was done, and there was no dine-in. Public chairs and tables were also available.

This place is the best for fried chicken. The flavour is clean and not overly oily or greasy. The chips are great with whatever magic seasoning they use. The big box represents great value and can feed 4 people (though if you are very hungry then probably only 2-3). I have got many of my friends hooked onto this chicken as well and thus this place gets my strongest recommendation
