Degani Bakery Cafe

Had lovely service, quick and to the point. The plain croissant I purchased looked amazing but tasted forgettable wasn't too expensive though only $4.50. Hot chocolate was mediocre would get again if there wasn't anywhere else to get one. But again lovely service and they were able to answer the question I asked quickly.

After a night at the cricket and needing to be up early to catch our train to Echuca, the experience at Degani Cafe was first class. The Gentleman behind the counter allowed my son to create his own special bacon and cheese roll, with an extra piece of bacon and my roll was delicious also with the addition of tomato relish. A nice hot and well made coffee just topped off the whole experience. We will definitely be back again.

Simple cafe offerings simple meals at the convenience of within Southern Cross Station. If you're looking to just grab a quick bite, I'll say its OK but otherwise dining in is a bit suffocating because of the fumes from the bus terminal just beside it. It may not be that bad but I'm quite particular with smell so it's irksome to me. Food wise as mentioned and seen is really simple. You might be better off getting something elsewhere. Location may be nice to wait around for your guests.
