Lobbs

First breakfast here. The photo is folded eggs with crispy bacon and a hash brown. No complaints on any of this, the folded eggs were delicious, nice change from scrambled. The hash brown was real good, they’re so hit and miss and this one was definitely a hit. Will go back to try more of their food.

I ended up at Lobbs by accident after a very unwelcoming, cold experience at another cafe where I decided not to eat. Went to Lobbs. Lovely greeting upon entering by the tall dude with the red hair. Again, a lovely friendly greeting by the waitress at my table. I had the Buckwheat Pancakes special with strawberry and rhubarb jam with vanilla cream, meringue, pistachios and maple syrup. Simple but sublime. Loved the combination of the ingredients. The coffee was really good as well and hit the spot. Another 5 star cafe for me and appreciated being made to feel welcome here.

By far one of my favourite Melbourne cafes. I’ve been here many times both when visiting from Sydney and when I used to live in town - it’s good to see the high level of service and quality food is still the same, if not better. The staff are super attentive and friendly, and the food is some of the best quality you’ll get in the area. The produce is fresh and tasty and the coffee is simply perfect. But don’t take my word for it, visit and make your own mind up. I assure you, you won’t be disappointed. Lobbs gets five stars from me!

I don't often write reviews, but for this place I had to. I come here on my lunch breaks, the staff is friendly and quick with their service. I have come here about 7 times and have tried a different item on the menu each time, and each meal was cooked brilliantly and tasted amazing. Nothing to dislike about this place, their menu is really good, you can literally try anything and you won't be disappointed. 100% would recommend.
