Da Bruno Ristorante Pizza

A really good restaurant on wellington parade east Melbourne just opposite the MCG which serves good Italian food and is authentic, reasonably priced, great service and delicious pizza's which can be customized and the restaurant is reasonably attractive. the menu is standard but they will make special dishes on request. Desserts, too, are very nicely done. Had a great evening with family.

DO NOT EAT HERE! Food came out frozen after waiting 2 hours to order and receive food with only a group of 3 ordering pasta on a none busy night. Staff was very rude when we said we were running late for the footy. Trust me between the rude staff over priced food and drinks there frozen and burnt meals you might aswell just throw your money down a drain if the thought of eating at this restaurant ever crosses your mind.

Walking home from a full day in the city, friends fit bit read 24km so was in the mood for takeaway back at the apartment. Been walking past Da Bruno since thursday when we arrived in Melbourne :). They're an Italian Ristorante, now delivering to your door step as the takeaway menu says but its a 2 min walk so i opted the walk to the shop, to order & chill out till its ready. Found them on Yelp with the brown 1 star, but was hungry for italiano and didn't feel like anything else close by. Got a Mexicana & half Cheesy/half EL Totto (the lot) large pizza's, bruschetta & a spaghetti Bolougnesy which they recommended over one of the creamier pastas :D Restaurant wasn't busy at all for a sunday night with only 2 couples there at the time but the layout was really nice and the staff were pleasant :). Took the food back to the apartment, me & my 2 mates loved the pizza & the Bruschetta was super tasty :D!! Everyone tasted the pasta and it didn't taste as nice.. might be a completely different taste served on a plate with more cheese and a splash of tomato sauce :). If i was to go back I'd eat in and hit up another pasta dish for sure & dessert ;D!!

Not even 1 star We went to this place Saturday night before a concert arrived at 5.45 pm we had to ask someone to take our order at 6.00 pm our meals arrived at 7.10 pm my chicken scaloppini was uneatable the vegetables were cold and rock hard the beans were off the chicken was so dry it could not be eaten even if you wanted to Do not waste your time or money it has changed hands and is terrible as was the service NEVER AGAIN
