The place had an amazing layout, very spacious and gives off a good vibe. We went during the opening so we were the only ones there so it would be interesting to see the place filled. However the pricing of the food is a bit pricy for what we received. The consistency of the baos were not too great as we found 2 of the baos quite good but the others were dry and lacked the flavour for the amount paid.

Was walking past and saw their promotion for their chilli dumpling bowl. Decided to walk in and try it out. Was somewhat surprised as inside it seems to be half meal orientated and half packaged tea orientated. Waited at wait area/counter to be seated for a meal. Waited, waited. Staff were with several other people, it seemed going over every single tea, and explaining them all one by one. All I wanted was to be seated, or at least an acknowledgement. Received nothing at all, not any kind of acknowledgement, after waiting there for several minutes while the staff yapped on with other people. Walked out, embarrassed at their appalling service. Can only assume their food is just as bad.

When visiting Melbourne with work i went here with my melbourne friends for a drink and somewhere to chat. There was an awesome lounge area top relax and though it was empty (it was a tuesday night haha) it still had a great atmosphere. Best thing was i wanted a sweet cocktail as i didn't like the ones they had. They made me a delicious baileys cocktail mixture. Absolutely perfect. Would come here again.

Even as someone who does not drink tea often, I know there should be flavour. Alas, in the case of gunpowder (which is a rather strong flavoured tea) there is nothing but the barest of hints of bitterness, even after a prolonged infusion, still nothing but a far away aroma. A shadow of what this tea should be. The same can be said for the jazmine and lychee. Even the earl grey which one would expect to be a slightly higher quality than liptons, does not make the distance in its quality. The price? All I can say is you get what you payed for.
