Bamboo City

More than half the pork dumplings we were served were under cooked, the still raw pungent pork aroma was sickening. The msg laden noodle dishes were just edible but didn't sit well either. The new interior fit out is pleasant enough but doesn't make up for the potentially gastro inducing dumplings. Tried this new dumpling establishment a few weeks ago, did not find it on Google Maps till now. For the sake of other customers i really hope that we were unlucky enough that this may have been a once off incident.

Really sad that most of the reviews on here are negative primarily because they were deliveries. I've been consistently eating in here for the past few weeks because their range of food is great and the staff (especially Leo) are super friendly. Recommend trying the beef laksa or the Sichuan noodles, fried chicken with noodles is good though the broth is a bit bland, and all amazing value for money and hard to finish in one sitting! While the lunch range is good, the quantity is a bit smaller as compared to the actual menu items.

If I could give them less than 1 I would. I had purchased a Groupon voucher as a Christmas present which is still valid but Owner advised they will not redeem it and their solution was to get my money back from Groupon. No other reason provided. If we were to use it he would charge my friend another $52 odd dollars when she arrives at the restaurant. Appalling business practises. We are not in China. We are in Australia. Honesty and great business practises take you a long way. Karma! Start burning your essence to prevent evil but you caused it to yourself!

I've eaten here three times. The first time was actually good, decent stir fry chicken noodles. However, beef was extremely raw and not looking fresh the second time and third time quite disappointing as well. I also realised there's little to none customers eating here in all my visits, which also makes me wonder how fresh the food I was eating is. I feel very sorry because the staff has always been friendly. But I have decided to not risk myself for food poisoning and I'll not eat here again.

Worst food quality ever experienced. Foods tasted so bland and flavourless, you would've thought they didn't put MSG... worst thing is you get thirsty as hell after few bites and realising they did put MSG but still managed to make the food bland. Noodles we ordered was worst, a crispy noodle we ordered came out looking like dried rubber bands sticked together. How you guys even charge people for these foods? Would never order from there again.
