Shuji Sushi

I came here for the second time thinking to give them the benefit of the doubt but my oh my, their Kimchi Beef Don was so tasteless and the beef was too chewy. I don’t normally complain about food but I’m sorry, the dish I had was not good at all. It tasted like it was prepared in a rush and it tasted so bland. I had to mix it up with soy sauce and salt to give it a bit of flavour and even then, I couldn’t get myself to finish it. So disappointed. I hope they improve.

The sushi wasn’t too bad. I ordered 30A Kimchi Chicken Don l. Couldn’t finish it all it was absolutely disgusting. I don’t expect a 5 star meal for $10.50 but I do expect the dish to taste eatable. Absolutely no flavours all I can taste is tomato sauce and chilli. I love spices but this dish was a no go for me.😖😖😩

Arrived at about 3:10pm so some staff were seen finishing their shift. Ordered ramen and waited for more than 15 minutes still no noodle. I interrupted the staff whilst they were chatting. They went into the kitchen and brought out my order. I told them some ingredients were not in my order (usually I am not that picky but given their service I just want to tell them they were too slack) the staff said 'Oh today we run out of those ingredients...) The ramen was not very warm when I started eating and needless to say I didn't enjoy it, ate about half bowl despite it was my first meal since 8am. This is the first time in Melbourne that I was served with a cool warm ramen as I can't image any efficient 'Japanese' cafe model would deliver their ramen late. Check your change especially notes - my experience hence my advice.
