Chips were great. Ordered two Haddock. They were big! Unfortunately the batter was awful. Thick, overcooked and dense. The fish inside was nice. The batter was as bad on the sausage. Batter should be light and crispy not thick and hard. Sorry won’t be back.
It was alright. Under new management so benefit of the doubt they need to get to learn a few bits here and there. …
Been twice so far and the fish and chips were exactly what I wanted in a fish and chips, and the curry sauce was the nice Chinese type, than the weird gloopy stuff many other places pass off as curry sauce. Staff were also friendly and helpful.
Went tonight and ordered 2 large fish and chips £15 great I thought

Had fantastic fish and chips tonight at Lees. Freshly cooked - piping hot still when we got home 20 mins later. Batter was excellent. Fish was the most enormous piece. Battered sausage also very good. Staff were friendly and lively. Highly recommend. Open later than most - almost opposite McD s
Well we had from here for the first time in a while and the chips were uncooked.. spoilt my meal so daff to say won’t be going back again… used to be so good but gone so down hill..
