Such a proffesional but 'quirky' place absolutly fabulous food cooked to perfection. Defo going back I highly recommend this place to anyone.
A great little restaurant with fantastic food and very friendly staff. We visited it last night for the first time. I highly recommended the slow cooked pork belly and their pudding selection. They will see us again soon :)
My absolute fave restaurant! Go here every chance i get. Food is fresh, the staff are so friendly and you can see your dinner being made in front of you!
Great service, great food and wine..👌🏾👌🏾
Everything excellent, food, service, price, cannot fault anything, excellent value.
First time here for us and boy it didn't disappoint. Beautiful building and tasteful decor....... its definitely quirky 😁😁 staff warm and friendly, Connor who served our table was just fab. The food was amazing and the small menu boards offered plenty of choice. Finished the night off with a cocktail 🍸...... perfect ❤ we'll be back
Always dependable this family run restaurant offers a touch of class to dining in the Holmfirth area. Their fixed price menu never disappoints offering a varied choice for very reasonable fixed prices. The surroundings are lovely being based in the old school house with exposed beams and open kitchen allowing you to observe the team work their magic. I can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough and find myself looking for excuses to book in for yet another lovely dining experience.

The food here is amazing!! The restaurant looks great. The chefs cook everything in the main area so you can see it all which we thought was lovely. Our waiter Connor was fantastic and recommended a lovely red wine. This is now my favourite restaurant I would highly recommend. If you haven’t been there yet you need to go!! :-)
Randomly selected from the internet but absolutely a great pick. Relaxed feel attentive and friendly staff with a passion for what they do. And they do it extremely well. The early bird menu was not extensive but enough to satisfy the descending diners. The A la carte plenty of choice. An excellent meal and occasion. Just brilliant try it and see.
Would I go again, yes absolutely. Could they improve anything, yes, nowhere is perfect. £16/£18.50 for 2/3 course Sunday lunch was good value. Seeing it be cooked in the open plan kitchen was good. Interesting building, loos kept clean. Very attentive staff. Liked the idea kids can have smaller portions of main menu plus whispered in my ear chicken pieces and sausages available too. I had pate for starter which was good although I personally prefer toast not bread. Two had cod and mash for main and two had seabass which they all enjoyed. The little one had roast beef which she loved, ran out of gravy, but the attentive staff quickly brought across some more. I nicked a piece of the beef and it was spot on. I had the turkey which was nice, not superb, but nice. The roast spuds however were superb.
Two of us had Christmas pudding which was really tasty, slightly smaller than I expected. Two had cheese cake which they said was nice, however when I tasted it, it seemed to me to be more of a mousse than a cheesecake which slightly disappointed my daughter (more of an issue with description than quality). The Mrs had the torte which she thoroughly enjoyed (although beware very rich).
The seating is very open plan which may or may not be to your taste.
So in summary, good value, good food, good service and we will go back when we are rele visiting again. Noticed they do tapas which we would definitely try if we liked nearer.
Gorgeous food, lovely, friendly and warm atmosphere - a really lovely restaurant! Really reasonable prices for the quality of all the dishes too. We will definitely be visiting again soon
