It's a spoons so you have a good idea what you'll get. Food and drinks are good value. Bar service is generally prompt as is using the app. Main thing that niggles is that they are very slow at cleaning up and there are usually lots of tables littered with dirty plates and glasses.On my visit today an adjacent table had dirty plates and glasses on it when we arrived which were still there when we left after our meal.

I’m vegan and ordered a vegan meal Mangelorean curry. It arrived and had chicken in it 😱😱 spoke to a young lady called Mullen whose response was immediate she removed the chicken meal and sorted it out. Thank you soooooo much you were amazing xx well done Melton Mowbray weatherspoons xxxxx

First time we have been to the kettlleby cross, Had a gourmet sirloin steak medium rare, it was absolutely beautiful, best streak I've had, hubby had mix grill which also was gorgeous, service was great and staff very friendly,would highly recommend :) :)

Usual Wetherspoons and a good view ouybidbthw window to watch any tour bus arrive. Opposite the Melton theatre car park so you can nip in for a beer and food before the show.
Tables needed a wipe tho but it was busy.
Good disabled access and access toilet is below the staircase and it is locked so pleased about that as its cleaner that way. You'll need your radar key or ask at the bar. Some Wetherspoons disabled toilets are open and used by able bodied people not wanting to go up the stairs but these were locked so not blocked for disabled use. Usual toilets are upstairs. Friendly staff and would go again. Meals cooked very well and woth a drink thrown in.

Had a lovely meal, some of the chairs were ripped in places, could do with a redecoration and refit, but meal was very nice and tasty and hot!

Only issue....its not dog friendly.
But unfortunately they don't appear to follow these rules. I was annoyed to see dogs there as I'd like to bring mine.

Great place in the summer to eat outside - with a car park opposite (free for motorcycles).
Vast food menu - but service was very slow evening we visited (35 minutes for 2x desserts).
