We have been happily returning again and again to the Simla for around a year now, it really is a superb restaurant, and we’ve had takeaways from the Simla too. The menu is large with all classics you’d want plus a range of house specials. The wait staff have been happy to make recommendations when asked. The food is consistently delicious, timely and well priced. Good wine menu and selection of other drinks. We had not had any disappointments here at all.

Ordered tonight and had fantastic service, a slight error with our order that was sorted very quickly and professionally, food was so tasty and beautifully cooked, the lamb in my Mixed Tandoori Korai fell apart, definitely recommend and.will be ordering from here again next time we are in the area

Absolutely fantastic place. Staff are so welcoming and the food is just beautiful. Prices are reasonable and very competitive. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to eat in Melton Mowbray. We travelled from Syston to eat there, well worth it.

Absolutely amazing food, from the moment we walked in the customer service was spot on. It wasn't busy when we went in but food was out in the table in no time.
We didn't want parts of the set meal and the chef accommodated this.
Food was out this world and then on leaving they put what we couldn't eat in a doggy bag.
Now going to order as a take away too :)

We were torn about whether to visit here or Apurba which is close by, but we are very happy that we gave this place a try. Whilst the interior is a little bit shabby in parts, the food was excellent. My husband loves Indian food and said it was the best curry that he had ever had (chicken and keema curry). We would definitely visit again.

Excellent food outstanding service I've never had a bad meal here. The staff are really friendly specially sid one of the waiter's and the chef always comes and has a chat with us and ask us how the food was and shah the chef knows exactly how I like my food and makes me special dishes that are not on the menu 😊👑
