The food was excellent, however the service let the whole experience down.

Fantastic food, excellent service and in a lovely space. The most consistently delicious food we've had for a long time, and the black forest gateaux with cherry ice-cream was heavenly. Highly recommend and it's well worth booking in advance. We'll definitely be returning when we're back in the area

It's hard to find A sunday roast that beats your mom's. This place does. The creamy Swede mash and the Cornish beef, that melts in your mouth. A real treat. Only downside was the service, a bit chaotic and had to remind them of a few things we ordered. Sort this out and your on to a winner.

Best Sunday lunch ever. Meat cooked beautifully & gravy to die for ! Only tiny flaw for me was mustard in the cauliflower cheese. Another winner was the gentle quiet background music which was not invasive.Staff all friendly & professional.Will be back, thanks .

If I could give 10 stars I would! Such a lovely restaurant. Food was the best we've had in a long time, absolutely delicious and a highlight of our holiday. Staff were so friendly and happy even though they were run off their feet! Highly recommend.
Went in for Sunday dinner and it was delicious. Shame the cauliflower cheese had leeks in it though! We will be back for an evening meal at some point. Drinks are also a reasonable price too. Also Dog friendly!
What an incredible little find! Worth calling if it seems fully booked online.
