The Hayloft is truly an outstanding restruant. The service from the staff is wonderful; creating a welcoming vibe as soon as you enter. The Beef Roast is delicious, served with a variety of vegetables and a Yorkshire pudding. What truly amazed me is the time it took between ordering and recieving our food. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a new place to eat.

Best Sunday lunch ever. Meat cooked beautifully & gravy to die for ! Only tiny flaw for me was mustard in the cauliflower cheese. Another winner was the gentle quiet background music which was not invasive.Staff all friendly & professional.Will be back, thanks .

If I could give 10 stars I would! Such a lovely restaurant. Food was the best we've had in a long time, absolutely delicious and a highlight of our holiday. Staff were so friendly and happy even though they were run off their feet! Highly recommend.

Went in for Sunday dinner and it was delicious. Shame the cauliflower cheese had leeks in it though! We will be back for an evening meal at some point. Drinks are also a reasonable price too. Also Dog friendly!

What an incredible little find! Worth calling if it seems fully booked online.
My husband, 5yr old daughter and I arrived to a warm reception and seated straight away. Lovely selection of wine on the menu and after some indecision was welcomed to sample before settling on a glass!
We had the shared roast which was insanely good, and the staff were all so lovely - home from home, only better!!!
We can highly recommend if you're looking for really good food, a soothing and relaxed atmosphere where you leave feeling truly cared about! Thank you Hayloft...we will definitely be back! ❤

An amazing find!
We came here by total luck!
We hadn't booked but we're seated straight away.
All staff were great without being too attentive you get in some places!
We only had a main course but it was lovely.
It's 40 miles from home but will definitely return!!

The food was excellent, however the service let the whole experience down.
The waiting staff didn't seem to have a handle on the stage each table were at, or sounded surprised when told something was missing.
The food itself was tasty and we'll presented. We had a little wait due to the issues above.
If we were local, the service may put you off from returning, however it was probably just an off night.

Stumbled across this lovely restaurant by chance and so glad we did! The menu was a delight to read, lots of local flavours and seasonal choices. We treated ourselves to 3 courses with each being as amazing as the next. Would 100% recommend going and enjoying yourselves. The whole experience was made even better by the excellent waiting team who were attentive and present whilst giving you space and time.

Fantastic food, excellent service and in a lovely space. The most consistently delicious food we've had for a long time, and the black forest gateaux with cherry ice-cream was heavenly. Highly recommend and it's well worth booking in advance. We'll definitely be returning when we're back in the area. Thanks for a lovely evening.
